The label does. Chemical risk is the one industrial risk written in full on the packaging — which is exactly why it goes unnoticed. A drum stored next to the wrong neighbor, a transfer into an unlabeled container, protective equipment picked out of habit rather than from the data sheet: each takes a few seconds, none is deliberate, and nothing reacts at the time. Effective **chemical risk training** therefore does not recite regulation. It teaches people to read what is already written: the nine CLP pictograms, the sixteen sections of a **safety data sheet** and the three that actually matter at the workstation, storage incompatibility rules, and what to do when something spills. That is what these modules do: short, visual, anchored in real workstation situations, and closed by an auditable certificate — the one an inspector asks for, and the one the company must be able to produce. What comes up most often before a rollout. Who has to be trained on chemical risk? + Anyone who may be exposed to a hazardous chemical agent: production, maintenance, laboratory, cleaning, logistics. The duty does not depend on the type of contract or on how long the exposure lasts. In practice the useful question is not who handles the product, but who can be nearby. How often should it be renewed? + No fixed interval is imposed. Training has to be renewed as often as needed — a new product, a new process, a change of assignment, an incident. Many sites settle on an annual refresher, which has the merit of being easy to evidence. Is online training acceptable? + Yes. The rules set a content and a traceability requirement, not a delivery method. What gets checked is that the person was trained, on what, and when. That is exactly what the certificate issued at the end of each module carries. What must the training cover? + The risks tied to the products present on site, the precautions to take, protective equipment, access to safety data sheets, and what to do in an incident.
